Why do I have to learn and experience human bowen when all I want to do is work on horses?

Human bowen training is required for a number of reasons:

1. You need to develop a deeper understanding of the technique, experience the moves and the resulting feeling of relaxation first hand to really appreciate the power of this modality.
2. You need to receive verbal feedback on the precision and effectiveness of your moves that is only achieved through working with a human partner. Make no mistake, horses will give you lots of feedback, but to fully optimize your effectiveness with the technique you need human feedback as well. This is one of the many differences between the Equi-Bow program and other equine bowen based courses. We know that working on human studies dramatically enhances our students' understanding, ability and success.
3. You will want to use this on your family and friends.
4. Riders have a huge influence on horses. To optimize results with horses it is important to work with the riders.
