EB1000 Series: Equine Anatomy

EB1001: Skeleton, Superficial Muscles

2 Days:  Fall 2019
10am – 5pm

In this two day course we will cover the basics of terminology and landmarks of the skeletal anatomy, the superficial muscle system and an overview of the Central and Peripheral Nervous systems. A mix of classroom and hands-on lab time will ensure you have a solid understanding of the structures you are affecting with Equi-Bow procedures. Required for EB Certification. 

 EB 1002: Deep Muscles and Body Systems

2 days: March 30 & 31, 2019
$790 + HST

In this course we will delve deeper into the anatomy of the horse. DSC00682Focusing on the deep muscular system, nerves and mechanoreceptors of the nervous systems we will also look at the Circulatory, Lymphatic, Respiratory, Urinary, Endocrine and Reproductive systems and the clinical relevance of each system to the skeletal, muscular and nervous systems. This course will be a mix of classroom and hands on lab time.


EB1001 is a required course for Equi-Bow Canada Practitioner certification. EB1002 is optional although highly recommended. 

While structured for the Equi-Bow student, both courses are open to massage students, riders, coaches and trainers who are interested in learning more about the anatomy of the horse.
